February 18-20, 2005, I went up to the bay area to visit my good friend Phillip. On Sunday we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin County side. After walking part of the bridge we headed over to the Marin Headlands which I'd not been to before. The views were incredible and there is a lot to see there. There are many old military gun installations from the 1800s to WWII and later. It was neat to see the bridge from above and to see the city beyond. I can imagine that on a clear day you could see very far and at night it would be cool to go up there to take pictures.
